During this food tour, your guide will take you to hidden spots where you won’t find tajine or couscous, but instead the local dishes that tourists often miss.
We’ll eat where the locals eat, wandering through a maze of narrow streets filled with smoky grills and snake charmers.
Along the way, we’ll stop at unique food stalls and small restaurants.
While we explore different neighborhoods, your guide will share the stories behind each dish, giving you an authentic taste of Marrakech’s vibrant culture.
One of the highlights is a visit to a father and son who make Chebakia, a delicious sweet treat that you simply must try. With a bit of luck, you might even get to make your own Chebakia!
You’ll also visit an underground bakery, where you’ll see how the most delicious Moroccan bread is baked in a wood-fired oven.
Savor the intense flavor of charcoal-grilled brochettes, enjoy stewed snails with ras el hanout, taste a heartwarming harira made by three sisters and their brother, and experience slow-cooked meat from a traditional underground oven.
